Shopify Bulk Price Updater

Change prices across your Shopify store at once: by a percentage, or from cost by margin or markup.

How this was calculated

Your product file never leaves your device. In Shopify, import it with 'Overwrite products with matching handles' ticked.

About the Shopify Bulk Price Updater

Shopify Bulk Price Updater changes prices across your store at once. Raise or lower them by a percentage, or set them from each variant's cost using a target margin, markup or multiplier, with optional .99 endings.

You can limit changes to products whose vendor, type, tags or title contain a word, and show the old price as a "was" price when lowering for a sale. Only price columns change; everything else in your export is kept exactly.

How to use it

  1. Export your products from Shopify (Products → Export).
  2. Choose how to change prices, and optionally a filter.
  3. Download the new file.
  4. Import it in Shopify with "Overwrite products with matching handles" ticked.

Example

Lowering every Acme product by 20% with .99 endings and "was" prices turns $20.00 tees into $15.99, with $20.00 shown as the compare-at price. Other vendors are left alone.

Questions

Do variants get updated too?

Yes. Every variant row is changed, and filters on vendor, type or tags apply to all of a product's variants.

What if a product has no cost?

Margin, markup and multiplier need "Cost per item". Rows without it are left unchanged and counted.

Can I undo it?

Keep your original export: importing it again puts the old prices back.
