These terms cover your use of Utilwell (utilwell.com), operated by Utilwell Co., a Canadian business. By using Utilwell you agree to them. Questions: hello@utilwell.com.

Using the tools

• The free tools are free to use, for personal and business work.
• What you put into a tool, and what you get out of it, stays yours.
• Don't use Utilwell to break the law, to infringe others' rights, or to disrupt or overload the service.

Results are information, not advice

Calculators and converters show their working so you can check them, and we work hard to make them correct. They are still general tools, not financial, tax, legal or professional advice. Check important results before relying on them, and keep your own copies of important files.

Accounts

You sign in with a link sent to your email. Keep access to that email secure, since anyone who can read it can sign in as you.

Utilwell Pro and the Day Pass

• Prices are shown in US dollars and charged through Stripe. Your bank may add currency conversion fees.
• Pro subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. Cancel any time under Your account → Manage billing. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• A Day Pass gives Pro features for 24 hours from purchase and does not renew.
• If we change a subscription price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

Changes to the service

We may add, change or remove tools and features. If we remove a paid feature you rely on, contact us and we'll make it right, including a refund for unused time.

No warranty and limits of liability

Utilwell is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited.

Ending your use

You can stop using Utilwell and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which Utilwell Co. is based.

Changes to these terms

We'll update the date above when these terms change, and email account holders about significant changes before they apply.
