Foilbay is a Shopify theme made by CHRISPSDesign ("we"), the Canadian company that owns Utilwell. This policy explains what the theme does with data on your store.

The theme sends us nothing

Foilbay runs entirely on Shopify. It contains no tracking or analytics, and it does not send any store, shopper or order data to CHRISPSDesign or anyone else.

What stays in the shopper's browser

Recently viewed products and the shopper's grid or list choice are stored in the shopper's own browser and never leave it. They are not linked to customer accounts.

What Shopify handles

Everything else the theme shows, such as products, carts, customer accounts, event tickets, newsletter sign-ups and contact forms, is handled by Shopify under your store's own privacy policy and Shopify's privacy policy. Buylist submissions are sent through your store's contact form to your store's email address.

Your store's privacy policy

You remain responsible for your store's privacy policy and for any apps you add, which have their own terms.
