Dewline: Shopify Theme by CHRISPSDesign

Dewline is for skincare, makeup and supplements brands whose customers want to know what's inside and what to use together. It comes in three styles: Dewline for skincare, Pigment for makeup and Tonic for supplements and wellness.

It includes a routine quiz with no app, ingredient and supplement-facts blocks that read from your product data, an A to Z ingredient glossary, and morning and evening routines shoppers can add to the bag in one click.

How it works

Choose a style on the Shopify Theme Store, then try it in your store.
Set your logo, colours and fonts.
Create metafields such as key ingredients and morning and evening routines, and fill them in on your products.
Create the quiz and ingredients pages from their templates and add them to your menu.
Shoppers take the quiz or use the routine blocks, and add the whole routine to the bag.

Routine quiz

No app: Built from theme editor blocks. Ships with 5 sample questions and 4 results you can edit.
Weighted answers: Choose-one or choose-any questions, with points per answer. The most points wins.
Remembers results: Shoppers can come back and see their last result.

Ingredients and facts

Product blocks: Key ingredients, full ingredient list, free-from badges, how to use, results timeline and a supplement facts panel.
Hide when empty: Every data block hides itself when its metafield is empty, so one template serves skincare and supplements.
Glossary: Search, category chips, A to Z grouping and links to up to 4 products for each ingredient.

Routines

Routine block: Morning and evening tabs on the product page, up to 8 products each, with a live total.
Routine builder: A home page section that builds a routine across products.
Add routine to bag: One click adds the whole routine as one-time purchases.

Store basics

Shopping: Predictive search, filters, and a cart drawer with free-shipping progress and recommendations.
Selling: Subscribe and save (with a subscriptions app), shade swatches, pickup, gift cards and Shop Pay Installments.
Accessible and bilingual: Built to WCAG 2.1 AA with reduced-motion support, in English and French.

Requirements

Filters need Shopify's free Search & Discovery app.
Subscribe and save needs a subscriptions app, such as Shopify Subscriptions. Star ratings need a reviews app.
Languages beyond English and French need Translate & Adapt.

Questions

Do I need an app for the quiz?

No. It's built from theme blocks you edit in the Theme Editor.

Can one store sell skincare and supplements?

Yes. Blocks without data hide themselves, so the same product template works for both.

How does the quiz pick a result?

Each answer adds points to results. The most points wins, and a tie goes to the result higher in the list.

Does it support subscriptions?

Yes, with a subscriptions app. Routines add one-time purchases.

Where do I buy it?

On the Shopify Theme Store, once it's approved. You pay through Shopify and can try it in your store first.
