About the eBay image resizer

Why 1600 px?
It is the size eBay recommends for sharp zoom without huge files.
Does eBay allow borders?
eBay's photo policy doesn't allow added borders, text or watermarks. The white fill blends into eBay's white page, but turn it off if you'd rather keep each photo's own shape.
