About the Remove Duplicate Lines
Remove Duplicate Lines cleans a list down to unique lines, keeping the first time each line appears and the original order. Use it on email lists, SKUs, keywords or any pasted column.
Spaces at the start or end of a line are ignored when comparing, and you can choose to ignore upper and lower case.
How to use it
- Paste your list, one item per line.
- Choose whether to ignore case.
- Copy the cleaned list.
Example
apples, pears, Apples, plums, pears (one per line) with case ignored becomes apples, pears, plums: 2 duplicates removed.
Questions
Which copy is kept?
The first one. Later repeats are removed, and the order of what's left doesn't change.
Does it change my text?
No. Lines are kept exactly as written; only repeats are removed.
Is there a size limit?
Only your device's memory. Tens of thousands of lines are fine.
