About the Base64 Encode and Decode
Base64 Encode and Decode converts text to Base64 and back. It handles accents and emoji correctly by encoding as UTF-8. When decoding, it also accepts the URL-safe variant (with - and _) and ignores line breaks.

Questions
Is Base64 encryption?
No. It's an encoding anyone can reverse. Never use it to hide passwords or secrets.
Why does decoding fail?
The input has characters that aren't Base64, or it is cut off. Check for missing or extra characters.
Can I encode files?
This tool is for text.
